‘Ye Dunya’ poses the question that most of us face at some time in our lives: do our efforts to prove ourselves to the world matter? In a song that goes beyond the traditional rock lineup, Karakoram, Anjum, and Shafi confront this doubt head-on, generating a power-packed music composition.
If you want to see the suspenseful composition for yourself, then you can check it out down below here.
Producer Xulfi of Coke Studio and associate music producer Sherry Khattak created the new-metal tunes. Adnan Dhool, Talha Anjum, Faris Shafi, and Xulfi collaborated on the song. The song is supposed to unfold, according to Coke Studio, “The artists acknowledge each other’s hardships, almost like a therapy session. Anjum has a calm, philosophical demeanour. Shafi presents the truth, calming Sherry Khattak’s primal screaming and reminding him that he is not alone”…
Harris Khatri, the music video’s art director, positions the song’s performers amid a construction zone. “Promising to transport them from blackness to somewhere vivid,” boxes of digital colour emerge from the bottom with the performers on top. To demonstrate “how integrated we are with the twisted world of technology,” video director Zeeshan Parwez uses AR technology motion visuals surrounding each artist.
Fans are overjoyed that Shafi and Anjum have finally collaborated on a song.
They also enjoy the wide range of musical styles and genres presented by Coke Studio this season.
All in all, listeners love this latest nu-metal banger.
