“TikTok should remain banned”, says Shahid Afridi

Former cricket star Shahid Afridi recently appeared in a chat show “Time Out With Ahsan” along with singer and activist Shehzad Roy. During the interview Shahid Afridi bluntly demanded from Roy to ban video sharing app TikTok once and for all.

According to him, people in rural areas are not educated enough. Education and awareness has not reached properly in remote areas, but they have access to internet. One should be educated enough to utilize the internet properly. I am surprised to see that 12-13 year old have their own mobile phones. It’s a young age and children gets distracted from their goals.  My daughter has just turned 19 years old and I have allowed her to use the phone now.
