In yesterday’s match, Pakistan went against Australia in the semi-finals and left Pakistani fans heartbroken. Pakistan had an unbeaten streak till the semi-finals and was a favourite in winning the T20 world cup. Unfortunately, during the semi-finals in a close match, Australia triumphed over Pakistan in the 19th over and knocked them out of the tournament.
Like always, after the match was over Twitter became a battleground. Some fans congratulated the green caps for their performance, some trolled the players and some were completely heartbroken.
Regrettably, the person who got the brunt of the trolling was Hassan Ali due to his performance during the match. Even so, Hassan Ali’s teammates and fans stood by him with the hashtag #WeStandWithHasanAli.
