This episode of Ishq-e-laa was heartbreaking and at the same time heart warming too.
Episode starts with Azlaan’s mother calling Sultan to ask him to come back to his job instead of sending her mother and sister. But her call was received by Kanwal, Sultan’s wife who angrily starts shouting and blaming Azka that she must’ve done something and she can’t handle the job for few days.
Sohail Sameer as Azka’s big brother Sultan is sweet and a thorough gentleman who knows how to respect his mother and sister and also fights for them. But also knows how to give his wife’s rights too. Azka telling her brother about the teasing scene and Sultan leaves the job which makes Kanwal angry and she talks rubbish to Azka which led Sultan to insult her. In response, Kanwal leaves the house in hopes that Sultan will come and take her back. But he didn’t go for few days only when Azka and his mother persuades him to take Kanwal back to home.
It was sweet and a lil surprising that Kanwal praised Azka. It shows that she realizes that Azka is a sweet, innocent and a girl who respects others. She has a soft corner and she is not completely black. Like every person is grey in nature and she is too.
The scene where Kanwal returns and goes back to her room and every one from Azka, her mother and Sultan’s daughter Aliha watched her with fear was so cute.
Azlaan buys a gift for his mother on her birthday. A beautiful vase which drops and breaks from his own hand. Reminding us the time when Azka accidentally broke Azlaan’s perfume bottle. Azlaan is a Mr. perfect and he thinks humans can be perfect, mistakes only happen with carelessness and he is not careless. He cannot make mistakes and this is unbearable for him.
Laila Wasti tells Shanaya that she has received a proposal for her. A mutual friend who has returned from London and is a PhD holder. But Shanaya loves Azlaan, who isn’t interested in marrying her and only considers her a friend and a company that he uses to spend sometime. She knows this but has hopes from him. Then comes the final scene, where Azlaan breaks Shanaya’s heart. When she nervously told him that Fahad has proposed to her. He didn’t even take a pause, very flatly approved it. He suggested her that she should accept the proposal from Fahad she has received because they both are similar in nature, leaving Shanaya heartbroken and shattered.
Kudos to Laila Wasti. Her acting is so flawless. In the last scene the way she sees teary eyed Shanaya and doesn’t ask anything realizing that she might be hurt and doesn’t want to tell everything then and there was so good. Shanaya tells her mother that she is ready to marry Fahad.
