The Pakistani cricket team sent waves of joy across the nation once again after winning against the team of New Zealand. After the historic T20 win against India, Pakistani cricket fans and celebrities approached the game with New Zealand bursting with patriotic enthusiasm.

As people of Pakistan wounded by the Black Cap’s exit from their recent cricket tour of Pakistan is still fresh, Pakistanis hoped for a win to get back at the team for their last-minute cancellation. The green shirts did not disappoint, performing spectacularly on the field, and made sure that team New Zealand have the most fantastic security.

The match had brought all the Pakistani people together with an emotional roller coaster, especially in the second inning. We all were glued to our screens during the whole match back and forth as each team struggled to get the upper hand. Just when it looked like the Blackcaps had secured themselves a win, when Muhammad Hafeez got out by Superman Devon Conway.  All the hopes were stuck with Shoaib Malik & Asif Ali, and their partnership made the nation proud.
