Bilal Abbas Khan is a Pakistani actor. Born on 4th June, 1993, Abbas graduated from SZABIST Karachi in Marketing in 2015. He started his television career in 2016 with commercial modelling and later started auditioning for television roles.
Khan made his acting debut in 2016 with a supporting role in the Hum TV’s religious drama Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi, alongside an ensemble cast of Naveen Waqar, Ahsan Khan and Emmad Irfani. Directed by Shahzad Kashmiri, his role was of a spoiled brat who hates his parents for neglecting and abandoning him. Over the years, the young actor has appeared in many hit dramas giving epic performances. He has gathered alot of praise for his acting. Dunk (Haider):
The drama “Dunk” is based on a real story where a female university student wrongly accused her professor for sexual harassment. Sana Javed plays the role of Amal, that student who made false allegation on her teacher and is ex-fiance of Bilal Abbas (Haider). In this scene she is now married to Haider’s brother Safeer, and she repeats whatever she has done with professor Humayyun, accusing Haider of attempting his rape. In this scene, Bilal Abbas has shown an amazing acting of terrified Haider, who is trying to proof his innocence to his whole family.
O Rungreza (Qasim):
Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas starrer drama “O Rungreza” was a hit and loved by fans mainly due to the unique and different acting of Sajal Aly. She is playing the role of Sassi, a stubborn girl who idealises her father Khayyam (Noman Ejaz). Bilal Abbas has played the role of Qasim the maternal cousin of Sassi, who loves her but is afraid to tell her due to the favors of his uncle Khayyam. He is seen playing the role of a naive and innocent young man. Bilal Abbas Khan has matured with Qasim and him along with Sajal shared great on-screen chemistry made us wish to see the duo once again. Here he is seen portraying his role with utter perfection.
Balaa (Taimoor):
The actor has left people awestruck with his intense acting particularly in his venture ‘Balaa’ that was aired on ARY Digital. Bilal Abbas Khan plays the protagonist Taimoor, an affectionate but obstinate and headstrong young man, who is very attached to his mother. Taimur falls head over heels in love with a girl, who lives next door. Unfortunately, on the day of their wedding she ditches him and runs away with her lover. This leaves Taimoor dejected and cranky. He is insulted by the rejection and is unable to overcome the trauma.
The story takes a twist when Nigar (Ushna Shah) reveals her fondness for him. Taimoor accepts her proposal, unaware of her vicious plans. She destroys his whole family, in order to make Taimoor hers completely. He was unaware of the truth and when he got to know the whole scenario and the wrong doings of his wife Nigar, he becomes revengeful. The scene of revelation and realization is greatly portrayed by Abbas in this scene.
Cheekh (Wajih):
“Cheekh” drama is another project of Bilal Abbas, which got aired on ARY Digital in 2019. This is the flash back scene where Wajih confesses to being Nayab’s murderer in front of his bhabi Mannat and his character within a second switches from a loveable hero, to the villain. The sudden transition from a doting brother, to a murderer is surely one of the most intense and intriguing scenes of the serial. It requires a lot of acting precision to show this change within a single scene, and the anger, ego and lust in Wajih was nailed by Bilal. His dialogue delivery in addition was a cherry on the top.
Bilal Abbas is one of the young talents of Pakistani acting industry with diversity in his projects and roles. He has established himself as a versatile actor in a few years.
