In 2020 the 19th annual LUX Style awards were held digitally. This happened during the time the covid pandemic was at its most dangerous, with thousands of cases all over the world. The Pakistani entertainment industry took note of this and to protect its talent they made the Lux style awards digital. To many fans, wasn’t much of a surprise as many concerts and award shows had gone virtual that year. Though the reasons behind the decision were understandable many could not help but be disappointed.
This year the pandemic has calmed down so many fans are wishing/speculating that the Lux style awards could be held with a live audience. In any case, all we can do is speculate. Because there has been no official statement by LUX whether the awards will be digital or not. As of now, only the nominees have been announced and it looks like we will just have to wait for further information
